About Dr. Shaan Singh

Shaan Singh, DPM was born and raised in Northern Virginia, and is excited to open a practice with his brother Dr. Diltaj Singh to provide the most innovative treatment in foot and ankle care to the community that raised him. After completing his medical education from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery in Iowa, he went on to enhance his surgical training from United Health Services in Binghamton, NY. While there, he developed a passion and interest for minimally invasive surgery early on during his surgical training and decided to focus his training in this subspeciality of podiatric medicine.

Dr. Singh brings a unique set of skills to Singh Foot & Ankle Healing Center. His experiences rotating in different medical specialties as part of his residency training allow him to have a more holistic approach in treating his patients. His love and fascination with technology gives him the opportunity to provide his patients with the most up-to-date treatment modalities. His multilingual skills allow him to communicate effectively with patients from a plethora of backgrounds, including patients that speak English, Punjabi, and Hindi. His non-traditional background working a variety of jobs permits him to have a unique understanding and connection with his patients, and to provide truly personalized medical care.

Outside of work, Dr. Singh likes to spend time with his family, try new restaurants, travel, workout, play basketball and watch sports. He enjoys meeting new people, networking, and building relationships. He is grateful to have the opportunity to pursue his passion with his brother, providing the most innovative treatment in foot and ankle care while treating every patient like family.
